Stop shipping the
same order twice.

Customers double-order more often than you notice — and Shopify Flow can't catch the worst case: guest checkouts with different emails and the same shipping address. DoubleCatch flags suspect pairs and holds fulfillment before anything ships.

No spam — one email when early access opens.

The duplicates your automations can't see

Shopify's fraud analysis scores payment fraud, not double purchases. Flow recipes only match logged-in customers with the same email. Everything else slips straight into fulfillment.

Guest checkout, second email

Same person, same address, a different email the second time. No customer record ties the two orders together — Flow has nothing to match on.

The impatient double-tap

Checkout felt stuck, so they ordered again. Two paid orders minutes apart — identical cart, identical address, both heading to fulfillment.

Channel sync gone wrong

TikTok Shop, Walmart, or a payment callback creates the order twice. Merchants report these for years — the duplicates look like normal orders.

How DoubleCatch works

01

Every new order gets fingerprinted

Email, phone, and shipping address are normalized — casing, diacritics, abbreviations, unit numbers — into a comparable fingerprint the moment the order lands.

02

Compared against the last 72 hours

Fuzzy matching across the recent order window. Exact email, same phone, or a near-identical address — each signal scores, POS and subscription orders are excluded.

03

Suspects get tagged and held

Above the threshold, both orders are tagged and fulfillment is held. You review the pair side by side: merge, refund, or release in one click.

Be first in line

DoubleCatch is being built in the open and will be free while in beta. Leave your email and you'll get access before it hits the App Store.
